Company Background
Wesley Starr has a deep knowledge and vast amount of experience with mechanical equipment and control systems. He worked with a major equipment manufacturer for over twenty years. His background was forged in the commercial plan and spec market, but he mainly specialized in the commercial design and build sector incorporating building control systems with the mechanical systems.
Next, Wesley Starr moved on to a MEP engineering company. He was mainly focused on running the firm’s commissioning division for over twelve years. In addition, while at this firm, he conducted in-house design reviews, wrote control sequences, and assisted with design project’s construction administration.
Next, Wesley Starr pursued a job working with the US Corps of Engineers for over three years at Fort Bragg. He became USACE’s Wilmington District’s CxG for Fort Bragg. He oversaw all of the base’s commissioning projects: from design reviews to construction, inspections, TAB verifications, and observed the Cx testing phases.
All in all, Wesley Starr has worked with simple package unit systems to hot water and chilled water plants incorporating a wide range of control systems. He understands how the equipment and the controls must integrate together and not work independently. He has been involved with well over a hundred commissioning projects.
